Polychem powder is all about color, special effects and functionality
We have some amazing special effects on offer, and you may be able to create these in the color of your choice! Talk to the team to see what’s possible. Our special effect powders include:
Metallic Sparkle
Gives a metallic finish with a beautiful sparkle
Fine Texture
A very light, subtle texture you can just feel. Light refracts differently off the coating
River Texture
Similar to a hammertone effect in how they look, but river textures are all one color
Mini Texture Effect
Similar to a river texture but with a smaller effect that gives a pretty, light finish
Silver Vein
A light, silvery vein running over the color of your choice
Hammertone
Similar to a river texture in how they look, hammertones use two colors to create a beautiful effect
Speckle
A light almost bobbled texture on the coating surface.
Ultra Rough
A very heavy texture that combines a rougher finish with improved grip
Anti-Skid
A very coarse, sporadic texture that gives a grit feel to the coating
Translucent
When you want a hint of substrate, or printing on the substrate, to show through the coating

We can apply the special effects that are shown on this page to just about every powder we make. Most are available to add to your order at the shop checkout. You will see them listed as 'Alterations'; so after you have picked your powder color and type, just select the 'Alteration' of your choice Please contact us if you have any special finish requirements, and we will be happy to help.
Added Functionality
All our powders can have added functionality, such as:
